Join us for our annual Yoga in the Valley drumming circle with African dance instruction. This is one of the annual highlights of our events. Sharon leads regular drumming circles at Green Point, you can join her for regular coastal meet-ups. You do not need to be experienced, Sharon will lead you to create simple yet powerful rhythms, this is an excellent way to connect to yourself and the community.
Sharon is one of the Yoga in the Valley core team, she is organising the Saturday offering at the Yamba Distillery.

Melissa’s mindful, playful events, offerings span ecotherapy, seasonal observances, rites of passage, circle-keeping, foraging and impermanent art. A trained yogi and environmentalist, she calls herself a Womanhood & Nature Mentor.
Melissa is “new” to the Valley, back after 35 years away. She is deeply land connected via ancestors who’ve farmed at James Creek for over 160 years.
Melissa helps her clients reconnect with their wholeness, including with the biomes all around. She and nature work as “co-therapists” to support people recovering from modern ills like burnout and climate distress.

In 2012 Mana Chita inherited a market stall from the Community College in Coffs Harbour. They created a menu based on Ethiopian cuisine and it took off.
Before long they were catering events and serving food at festivals up and down the mid-north coast of New South Wales.
The question we were asked most was: When are you going to open a restaurant? That inspired us to open Mana Chita in a tiny little shop in Coffs Harbour CBD where they operated for 6 years they then had the opportunity to move to the vibrant Jetty Strip in Harbour Drive in 2019 and haven’t looked back.
